Amazing watercolors on display in SIP

A watercolor exhibition, which is free to the public, kicked off at Ming Gallery of Art, SIP on Sept 21, and will last till Sept 29. On display are about 60 watercolors by renowned Chinese artist and art educator Zhang Junqiu and his students. 

 

Zhang, with over-60-year experience in painting, is widely known as a dab hand at incorporating traditional Chinese painting skills into watercolor creation. It is learnt that his students planned the exhibition to celebrate his 80th birthday and express their thanks for his long-term devotion to art education in Suzhou and Yangzhou in East China’s Jiangsu province.

 

The exhibits, boasting diversified themes and styles, have attracted lots of watercolor enthusiasts.
