After an endeavor, you finally meet “it” at the end of a passage or at the corner of a garden, and with the help of “it”, you feel greatly relieved. “It” is no other than a public toilet. 

The tourist toilets of Jinji Lake scenic area have won a great honor once again, and they have been listed as best service provider. 

Recently, the campaign of election of the “most beautiful toilet” and the “best services provider” from among tourist toilets in Suzhou city has finished. Three toilets (Cultural Corridor on Water toilet, West Wangdunlu Road toilet, Yuyinglu toilet) in Jinji Lake scenic area have stood out from total and been elected as the one providing the best services among Suzhou’s tourist toilets in 2019.

As a result of the “Toilet Revolution” carried out by the administration of Jinji Lake scenic area, quite a few beautiful and well-equipped toilets with their cubicles in sufficient numbers have appeared such as West Wangdunlu Road toilet, Yuyinglu toilet, including the newly-built and renovated ones. 

In 2019, eleven toilets of Jinji Lake scenic area received 352,000RMB as provincial tourist toilet-specific subsidy for their renovation, which has improved the service ability―so-called “soft power” of the scenic area.
