The leaders of 85 teams to compete in the 2026 Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race attended the meeting in SIP on June 3, learning details about the schedule, rules and safety procedures of the event.

The Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race has been an annual event on Jinji Lake since 2010. This year’s event is set to take place on June 20 with about 1,800 racers.

At the meeting, the organizing committee called on the participating teams to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship through their actions, ensuring the event goes on in an smooth, orderly manner.

The team leaders drew lots to decide which groups their teams will compete in. The jerseys and medals designed for the event were unveiled.
