The opening show of the 2026 “Summer Night in SIP” concert program was staged on the right bank of Jinji Lake on the evening of July 25, delivering an immersive lakeside musical feast for the audience.

Last year’s “Summer Night in SIP” concert program, which included a list of performing events scheduled every Saturday evening in summer, received high acclaim from the public for its immersive live music experience.

    Before the show began, the lawn by the lake had already been filled with people. Sitting on the grass, they chatted leisurely, eagerly anticipating the performances.

At 7:30 PM, the opening number “Eternal Summer” ignited the venue with blazing melodies, followed by the gentle and languid “At Least I’ve Got You”, which instantly sparked a sing-along. Then, a list of beloved hit songs were performed in succession, with the audience softly singing along and mobile phone flashlights forming a vast sea of stars, painting a romantic lakeside tableau.

Notably, many of the performers participating in this year’s “Summer Night in SIP” concerts are selected through an earlier pop song singing competition. The program is offering more music lovers opportunities to step onto the Jinji Lake stage.
