It is now the best time to enjoy lotus in SIP

SIP has entered the peak season for lotus viewing. Ponds of lotuses are blooming quietly, with emerald leaves stretching to the horizon and graceful buds swaying in the breeze, forming a summer-exclusive picture unique to the industrial park.

On the Yangchenghu Peninsula, Lianchi Lake boasts vast, contiguous lotus-covered waters with a serene, Zen-like ambiance. A wooden boardwalk winds gracefully through the expanse of lotus leaves, where bright pink and elegant white lotuses bloom in scattered splendor above the rippling waves. A gentle breeze carries the subtle, refreshing fragrance of lotus blossoms. Along the lake shore, the Lotus & Breeze Market and a lotus-themed light show alternate in delighting visitors.

Along the Jinji Lake Fitness Trail, water lilies bloom leisurely, creating a perfect blend of traditional Jiangnan poetic charm and modern urban flair with the surrounding landmark buildings.

Around the Ligong Causeway, the lotus pond offers a gentle and graceful view. Beyond sightseeing, visitors can also enjoy seasonal lotus-themed feasts at nearby restaurants.

The Egret Garden exudes a tranquil, ecological character, with interlacing waterways where lotus ponds and reed wetlands interweave and waterbirds and egrets frequently glide across the water. The birds’ movements and the surrounding stillness together compose a vivid and lively natural tableau.

Nestled in a residential area, the Xietang Lotus Park is a beloved “hidden gem” for lotus viewing. The park features sculptures, recreation facilities, decorative walls, and benches with motifs of lotus leaves and blossoms.

Moreover, a series of lotus-themed events, such as the SIP leg of the 2026 Suzhou Lotus Flower Exhibition, are scheduled across SIP over the recent months.
