A team composed of 100 performers, including adult artists and children, performed “My Motherland and Me”, a patriotic song, on the bank of Jinji Lake on Oct 1 to celebrate the National Day of China on the day.

Many passersby stopped, watching the performance with obvious excitement on their faces. Lots of children stood around the performers, waving the Five-star Red Flag in their hands to wish the country prosperity.

The beautiful sound of piano slowly surged, carrying with it blessings and love for the country.

The young performers demonstrated not only excellent musicianship but also the positive and upward spiritual strength of the youngsters in the new era.

“I feel honored to take part in the performance,” said a teen from the Suzhou Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
