The footage of SIP in “Cheng Shi Feng Hua Lu” (meaning “a record of charming cities”), a program that made its debut on CCTV-1 of China Central Television (CCTV) on Dec 1, attracted the attention of many audiences.

The program is designed to showcase unique characteristics of 11 cities in the country through field visits. Suzhou is the first station.

The first episode of the program highlights the integration of ancient and modern elements in Suzhou. It leads the audience to tour the rivers, bridges, ancient houses and the city’s world-famous classical gardens, and to learn about its modernity.

The biomedicine cluster BioBAY, nanotech hub Nanopolis Suzhou, “lighthouse factories” and the ICV testing site of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co Ltd in SIP have deeply impressed many audiences.
