The SIP-HMITZ Industrial Tourism Series, part of the 2nd SIP Cyberspace Culture Season, kicked off at SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ) on Oct 18, including a series of tours to six industrial sites for the participants to know better about the industrial development outcomes in the area.

One of the industrial touristic routes is devised for children and their parents. The participants will have chances to visit a dairy factory and a paper making company to learn about how dairy products and paper are made. Another route leads to a bus manufacturer and a smart technology company where the participants can gain a better understanding of smart manufacturing, while the last route highlights two companies engaged in medical and biological technologies for health purposes.

On the first day, over 100 people selected through an early online recruitment had the first experience of the travel routes.
