Recently, the passage under Right Bank Bridge to connect Eslite Bookstore and Harmony Times Square has attracted great attention. Citizens and tourists can enjoy the picturesque Jinji Lake Scenic Area on the wall. Two long scrolls of paintings covering an area of nearly one hundred square meters were depicted on the wall having attracted large audiences. 

This giant painting was elaborately designed to depict the whole of Jinji Lake scenic area reminding people of its Zhejiang counterpart, the world-famous painting  “Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains”.

This painting was completed within two days by collectively more than 60 senior high school students from SIP schools. They learned from Mr. Wu Guanzhong, a well-known Chinese painter, and combined Wu’s excellent painting skills and students’ own vitality into this great painting.

The winding lines on the wall of one side symbolize Ligongdi Causeway，Gate of the Orient, Water Ferris Wheel and many other scenic spots. Supported by propylene and iridescent effects, the wall is like a brilliant sky with numerous twinkling stars.

From bridge to bridge!

There are lots of bridges on Jinji Lake, which are not only for transport but also for landscaping. Excellent design of bridges have also created extraordinary scenery under the bridge. Walking from one end of bridge to the other, you feel city and Lake meet with each other under you feet to unfold a 21 century modern watertown ink painting. 1. Harmony Bridge

Harmony Bridge joins Harmony Times Square and Jiuguang Department Store. Walk on the bridge to look down on the clear water far below, then you go to IFC building, the highest skyscraper in Jiangsu Province, and ahead of you is Worldwide No. 1 Sky Screen. You will be overwhelmed by the unique view. 

When night comes, the scenes under Harmony Bridge are the most attractive. Lights are reflected in water creating a romantic environment! Infrared digital wall shines all over by infrared sensors. Long hairs fluttering in breeze, young girls and ladies stroll around with their beloved ones. 

2. Jinji Lake Bridge

Jinji Lake Bridge stands out from among all bridges in that it spans 900 meters long from the west to the east of the Lake. Besides, what is special about this bridge lies in its southern half road where the slow traffic lane is eight meters wider than normal allowing drivers to park and watch scenery. Like a magnificent arc over Jinji Lake, the bridge has added much modern charm to Jinji Lake. 

Under the bridge is the walkway encircling the Lake. What an enjoyment it is when you are walking after dinner along the walkway passing through the bridge from below, with lake wind gently caressing your face and symphony produced by birds and insects!

3. Flyover at Xinggang Street

This bridge spans between Suzhou Center and Jinji Lakeside. Therefore, setting out from the northern or southern part of Suzhou Center, you can walk via the flyover to Crowne Plaza trestle, Camphor Trees Garden, City Square or Rainbowwalk all by lakeside. Visitors walk slowly on the flyover watching hustles and bustles of the city. 

After night arrives, the Gate of the Oriental, Suzhou Center and W Hotel by the side of the street decorate the night with their shiny lights. When you drive by, you can get a clear view of the scenic spots of the area from your car. 

Different perspectives, different view

A famous Chinese poet said in his book: “When you are enjoying views on a bridge, you yourself become a part of view in the eyes of another viewer.” Bridges can offer you different perspectives and different view if you look in different ways.
