The “love letters” to the authorities of SIP’s Jinji Lake CBD went viral on the Chinese Valentine’s Day which, reckoned on the seventh day of the seventh month on the Chinese lunar calendar, fell on Aug 4 this year.

“To the Industrial Development Bureau (Investment Promotion Bureau):

You are always the vanguard in supporting industrial development;

and you serve as a booster to push enterprises to forge ahead.

It is you who have topped the enterprises up with energy to make new leaps forward.”

There are letters of similar kinds for the Financial Service Bureau, Construction Bureau, Emergency Management Bureau and other authorities, each composed of three lines which show appreciation for the authorities’ efforts in serving the local people and businesses.
