The Jinji Lake remained one of SIP’s most sought-after tourist destinations during the National Day holiday which lasted from Oct 1 to 7, with the Jinji Lake Scenic Area recording 957,100 visitors and 10 major tourist product and service suppliers and eight hotels around the lake raking in operating incomes of RMB 243 million in total.

The whole area was bathed in a festive atmosphere during the one-week holiday. The shopping malls, theaters and art galleries are full of people, so were the outdoor bazaars which offered dazzling cool stuff, delicious food, performances and chances to make handiworks.

The lakeside light show was amazing, and the Sky Screen at Harmony Times Square was still one of the most popular sites. The Jinji Lake even appeared in Xinwen Lianbo, a daily prime time news program of China Central Television (CCTV).

Although the holiday has ended, many events are still underway, and there will be more in the future.
