A pink bus departed from SIP Public Cultural Center on the morning of Nov 26, taking the passengers from around SIP into a tour to art.

The tour is one of the components of the 2022 SIP Citizens Art Festival that kicked off in SIP recently. It is the sixth session of its kind, and each session followed a different route.

The first destination was Suzhou Eslite Bookstore where the exhibition themed “An Encounter with Bugs – Zhu Yingchun’s Books and Bugs” is underway for visitors to explore the “world of bugs” portrayed by Chinese book designer and artist Zhu Yingchun.

Then the bus passed by the beautiful Jinji Lake and stopped at Iris Art Realm in Ligongdi Cultural and Creative Block, where the passengers visited the trendy art exhibition themed “Dopamine Rhapsody”.

After that, the bus took the passengers to the 2022 (5th) China (Suzhou) International Pastel Biennale in Ming Gallery of Art, which consists of an online display of 45 works by overseas artists and a physical display of 55 works by Chinese artists.

“The tour is very meaningful, especially for my daughter,” said a mother who participated with her four-year-old girl.
