The 2023 (First) CEBT Jinji Lake Stand Up Paddle Boarding Challenge, the first water sport event of its kind on Jinji Lake, SIP, kicked off on April 22, bringing together contestants from stand up paddle boarding (SUP) clubs and SUP enthusiasts. The races attracted a large number of spectators.

Diverse surfing, canoeing and SUP performances and races are scheduled over the next few weeks. All these programs are expected to build up the reputation of Jinji Lake as a popular site for water sports and accelerate the lake area’s development as an international, fashionable and modern site for water ecotourism. The area can also be an “urban parlor” for tourists to savor the culture of the region south of the Yangtze River.
