Coffee bazaar held in SIP

A coffee bazaar opened in SIP’s Jinji Lake Scenic Area on June 9. During three days, more than 50 coffee brands showcased their products and services on site.



The event also included DJ shows, band performances, Kunqu opera (one of the earliest genres of Chinese drama) and coffee classes which attracted many locals and tourists from other cities.




Chinese on-demand food delivery service provider Meituan released the Report on Big Data about Coffee Consumption in Suzhou in 2022, which recorded 3,460 cafes located across Suzhou.

Additionally, eight new coffee products were launched during the event, and the organizer of the event and Suntory Group, a global leader in consumer packaged goods, jointly organized a photography activity themed “When Coffee Falls in Love with Tea”.

 The Suzhou branch of China Merchants Bank offered digital red envelopes (hongbao in Chinese) that contain a certain amount of digital RMB to the participants before and during the event. The digital red envelopes distributed through the Suzhoudao mobile app before the opening of the bazaar totaled RMB350,000.
