SZS to stage over 100 performances during the 2023-24 Season

Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZS) unveiled its 2023-24 performance schedule on July 15 after closing the 2022-23 Season with a concert themed “The Ocean of Stars”.
As the eighth performance season of SZS, the 2023-24 Season, with ticket sales starting from July 18, will start in September, and wrap up in the following July.
The new season will comprise a diversity of concerts like those of works by world-famous composers, those of classic opera songs and those designed to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Algeria, the 30th anniversary of the inception of SIP and the 7th birthday of SZS.
A host of renowned conductors and musicians will join the performances. Among them are famous Chinese conductors Zhang Xian, Sheng Zongliang and Ye Cong and Russian conductor and pianist Vassily Serafimovich Sinaisky. A number of up-and-coming musicians who won prizes in various international competitions will show up, too.
