The couples who made their marriage registration at the marriage registry of SIP on the Chinese Valentine’s Day on Aug 22 received a “Love Package” that contained not only blessings but also gifts.

The marriage registry was specially decorated to create a festive atmosphere. Marriage guidance counselors served on site to help the couples improve their relationships and offer them tips on resolving conflicts.

Wedding fans and other handiworks bearing blessings were presented to the newlyweds.

It is learnt 84 couples made registrations at the marriage registry on the day, an increase of 23.81% over the same period of last year.

It is worth mentioning that a “garden party” was held beside the “Wall of Love” in the Ligong Causeway tourism and leisure block concurrently, with free consultancy on love, marriage and family and also music performances.
