Passengers of Singapore Airlines can check in at the Suzhou City Terminal of Shanghai Airport Authority (AVINEX) in SIP from Aug 15. This provides great convenience for travelers who live in SIP or nearby areas and plan to board a plane in Shanghai for Singapore.

The Suzhou City Terminal of AVINEX, which came into operation in May to provide ticket booking, check-in and other services for passengers of AVINEX’s airports in Shanghai, therefore has become the first in the country to provide trans-provincial check-in and luggage delivery services for an international airline company.

At the launching ceremony of the service, Singapore Airlines announced to present 500 bonus miles to passengers who registered at the Suzhou City Terminal as new members of its KrisFlyer rewards programme, and offer an additional 1,500-mile reward after their tour.
