The 2024 Montreux Jazz Festival China is set to take place at Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre from Oct 25 to 27. More than 100 Chinese and foreign musicians will give performances in about 30 concerts.

Created in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the oldest and most influential music events in the world. While jazz, soul and blues are at the roots of this event, other styles of music also have their place.

Montreux Jazz Festival was held in China for the first time in 2021, and it will be the debut of the event in SIP in October. The performances will be given on three stages, and Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Stevans and Zhang Qiang, Gao Bowen, Ole Borud and Maejor will perform at the event.

It is worth mentioning that a carnival will be held concurrently, encompassing a sunrise yoga experience event, a swing dance party, films, forums, lectures, charity shows, bazaars and other activities.
